What is the price range for your wedding gowns?
Our gowns start from £3,500, with bespoke designs beginning at £6,500. Each gown is made-to-order using measurements taken during your appointment.

Are your dresses made-to-order or bespoke?
Our gowns are made-to-order based on standard UK sizing, with in-house alterations to achieve an immaculate fit. We also offer bespoke gown services where you can work directly with Sassi Holford to create a custom design.
What sizes are your sample dresses?
Our sample sizes range from UK 10 to UK 20. If you’re interested in a specific gown, please add it to your appointment notes when booking.
Bridal sizing can be 1-2 sizes smaller than high street sizing, but all gowns are made-to-order based on your measurements.

Is there a fee for a bridal consultation?
Yes, we charge a booking fee of £45 for your first bridal consultation at our London store and £20 at our Somerset store.
This fee ensures a one-on-one personalised experience with our expert stylists.
What should I bring or wear to my appointment?
We recommend wearing nude-coloured underwear and bringing a strapless or low-back bra if possible. Bridal shoes will be provided during the appointment.
Can I bring guests to my appointment?
Yes, you may bring up to three guests. If you’d like to bring more, please contact the store beforehand to make arrangements.
All our stores have street-level access; please let us know if you have specific accessibility requirements.
What should I expect during my first appointment?
Alterations and Fittings
How many fittings will I need?
Typically, you’ll need 2-3 fittings if you choose our in-house alteration service. For bespoke gowns, an additional toile fitting may be required.
What is the process for alterations?
Alterations are carried out by our expert seamstresses to ensure your gown fits well. These fittings are scheduled closer to your wedding date and are designed to refine the fit of your dress.

What is the process for creating a bespoke gown?

- Design Selection: We’ll try on existing silhouettes, mix and match elements, and sketch your dream dress.
- Fabric Selection: We’ll source fabric swatches to complement the design.
- Follow-Up Appointments: After finalising the design, we’ll create a toile (mock-up) for fitting, then proceed with the final gown.
Can I customise an existing design?
Yes, many brides choose to personalise an existing Sassi Holford design by altering necklines, adding sleeves, or adjusting the silhouette. Speak with our team to discuss customisation options.
Additional Information
Can I include family or friends virtually during my appointment?
Yes, we encourage brides to involve loved ones who cannot attend in person. Feel free to use Skype or FaceTime during your appointment.
What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?
You can reschedule your appointment up to 72 hours before the scheduled time. If you cancel with less than 72 hours’ notice, your booking fee will be retained as an administration charge.
