Georgia looked stunning wearing Sassi Holford Jodene to marry Lisulo surrounded by their family and friends at the gorgeous Wyresdale Park. We asked Georgia to tell us about her wedding dress journey and what advice she would give to future brides-to-be.

Tell us about your wedding dress journey…
I found my wedding dress at Love Bridal. It was the first wedding shop I went to after waiting for the first Covid lockdown to lift, so I was really excited. Even before I tried on the dress I knew it was the one and it was the perfect fit in the shop, like it was meant to be.
How did your Sassi Holford wedding dress make you feel?
I felt so special in Jodene , I honestly didn’t want to take it off! I knew before I had started looking that I wanted something elegant and simple and the dress was what I had imagined but better. Lots of people commented on the fact that it was exactly my style and I agree. It was the most important thing for me to wear something that I felt myself in, and I definitely did. It was also really comfortable, even after dancing until the early hours of the morning!
What was your favourite part of your wedding day?
My favourite part was definitely the ceremony. Walking down the aisle with my dad surrounded by family and friends, and seeing Lisulo at the end. Also, getting to share our personalised vows which I was nervous about, but was really glad we decided to do. I think after Covid we just felt so lucky not only to be able to get married, but also to be surrounded by the people we love, we really could not wish for anything more.
What advice would you give to brides shopping for their wedding dress?
Give yourself plenty of time and enjoy it, it’s all part of the wedding experience. I think the most important thing is to go with what feels right. There were lots of styles of dresses which I loved and they were all completely different. I think that can be overwhelming to start with, I knew when I tried Jodene on it was right because I felt completely relaxed in it and like myself.
