Love Conquers All was inspired by, and dedicated to, our brides who showed us all that despite cancellations and changes love conquers all. It has made it even more special to see gowns from the collection being worn by our beautiful brides. Kate looked sensational wearing Sassi Holford Phoebe to marry her love, Adam.
Adorned with pearls, one of our favourite details of the season, Phoebe balances modernity with femininity. The bodice is impeccably structured, with a sheer tulle back and memorable plunging neckline. You can find out more about Kate’s inspiration and wedding dress journey below. Thank you Kate and Adam for sharing your day with us!

Tell us about the inspiration for your wedding day…
We wanted our wedding to feel romantic, intimate and to bring spring inside. Our venue is filled with so much natural beauty we really wanted to enhance what was already there and to replicate some of the beautiful spring blooms.
Did you always know what you wanted your wedding dress to look like?
I had absolutely no idea what I wanted my wedding dress to look like other than I have always been enamoured by Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, wedding dress by Alexander McQueen and something similar to other royals meets 50s movie stars – classical and timeless.
What made you pick Sassi Holford’s Phoebe gown?
I originally tried on a number of dresses and made a decision to come in to buy Zoe, however upon having my final trial the Phoebe had just arrived and was a complete blend of all the dresses I had tried on and loved. Every detail about it I just loved, the theatre in the tulle bell sleeves, the femininity and romanticism of the bodice and the flowing elegance of the skirt. All adorned in pearls, it was just perfect for me.
If you could go back and relive one moment from your wedding day, what would it be?
The whole day was all that we hoped for, but one moment I would love to relive was our first dance. Adam cut in from my daddy daughter dance which was incredibly emotional but when he took my hand, we were surrounded by our loved ones dancing to Beyond – Leon Bridges ft Luke Combs. It was so precious and powerful and a moment we’ll never forget.
