We are delighted to share these photos of Sacha and Drew’s beautiful city wedding. Sacha looked stunning wearing Sassi Holford Iris to marry Drew at New West End Synagogue, one of the oldest synagogue’s still in use in the country. Sacha surprised her husband by wearing Iris inspired by the wildflower meadows surrounding our Somerset atelier. Iris has been handcrafted in a delicately embroidered tulle with a floral motif in hues of amber, cornflower and evergreen. “Thank you so much again for all of your help in the lead up to my big day. The dress was absolute perfection, I felt amazing and people are still talking about it!!”

What was the most important factor when choosing your wedding dress?
I wouldn’t describe myself as a girly girl and rarely find myself in dresses, so it was really important for me to feel like myself in my wedding dress. I also wanted something comfortable and relaxed that I could dance all night in. When I put on Iris it felt so light and airy with all the beautiful tulle. It was just perfect for dancing all night, which is exactly what I did!
Tell us about your wedding look?
I tried on so many white classic dresses and whilst they were all beautiful, I didn’t feel like myself in any of them. I spotted Iris the minute I walked into Sassi and was nervous about doing something a bit different with the pop of colour. But the minute I tried it on my gut told me it was the one. It fitted perfectly with our wedding which was all outdoors surrounded by greenery and florals. The dress then dictated the rest of my wedding look. I opted for a classic shoe and hairstyle not to distract from the beauty of the dress. I also picked one of the colours from the dress to match my bridesmaids so they complimented me well. The dress was truly the main event!
How did your Sassi Holford wedding dress make you feel?
My Sassi dress made me feel like the absolute best version of myself on the most important day of my life so far. It just felt so comfortable and natural despite being a little different from your typical wedding dress, but it was absolute perfection and I wouldn’t change a thing about it. I just wish I could go back and wear it again!
What was your favourite part of your wedding day?
My favourite part of the day was seeing Drew for the first time after a week of not seeing or speaking to each other. His reaction to seeing me in a dress which he was not expecting (but absolutely adored!) was priceless, so emotional and just pure happiness. We will cherish that moment forever.
