A dress fit for a princess

Sassi and eight other talented couturiers from around the world were commissioned to design Markle’s wedding dress by Hello Magazine, who then shared them with their readers in an exciting poll. The public was won over by the Hollywood glamour and romantic detailing that Sassi infused into her sketch.

Reminiscing on her previous experience in designing a wedding dress for Autumn Kelly, Sassi shared that “when you’re creating a wedding dress for a grand venue, you have to think in terms of how it will look from a distance.” Sassi carefully considered the details in her design as she likes her dresses to become more interesting the more you look at them. Her vision for Meghan was a pale ivory, tulle and duchess organza gown that featured a fitted bodice, flower detailing and a full skirt.
