What a wedding! We adore these photos from Jen and Connor’s wedding day filled with love, laughter and colour. Jen made sure every detail tied together seamlessly from flowers to her own look all captured effortlessly by Esme Saville. Jen paired Sassi Holford Saskia renowned for its chic simplicity with a jacket by Stephanie Allin. The use of a bridal jacket gave Jen two looks on the day allowing her to dance the night away in a beautiful, structured silk crepe gown.
Describe the style of your wedding
70s disco meets forest fairy-tale glam! I love the 70s – music, style and fashion so definitely wanted to get that across but I also love being outdoors and having loads of space and nature around us. It had a festival feel to it but with a touch of glam.
What were your wedding day non-negotiables?
My wedding day non-negotiable were the flowers! They made the whole vibe of the day to be honest. It was the pop of colour and fun I really wanted.
Tell us about your bridal look
My bridal look was very me. I would say it was individual and timeless. I felt like myself with my hair and make up – not going far from what I would have it like for other events.
What advice would you give to brides shopping for their wedding dress?
Don’t over think/complicate it and don’t go for what everyone else wants/expects. I felt so so happy in my dress all day. It was super comfortable and it didn’t feel like a fancy dress outfit. I went for exactly what I wanted!
