With wedding season in full swing, we wanted to inspire you with some of our favourite ready-to-wear pieces that are perfect for summer nuptials; and who better to give you some ideas, than our very own Sassi Holford team.
We know weddings (if we do say so ourselves) and recognise the pressure you can feel to find the ideal wedding guest look; something that makes you look and feel fabulous and suits the occasion. Sassi has designed a collection of exquisite ready-to-wear pieces, that are not only perfect occasion wear, but are pieces that will be a valuable addition to your wardrobe, that can be worn again and again. We asked the team how they’d style their ready-to-wear pieces, to give you some inspiration and ensure you’re ready with the ultimate summer wedding guest outfits.

“I would wear the silk Christon shirt dress, which features deep button cuffs and puffed sleeves in a subtle green animal print. It offers beautiful trans-seasonal colouring, and I have the added knowledge that the beautiful silk it’s made from can be rolled up and won’t crease, so it travels well! I would pair it with a Jane Taylor hat, green Emmy shoes and matching clutch. I love the green Christon dress as it has such a presence without screaming look at me. It’s quiet luxury and elevated with the right accessories, it’s fit for any occasion. You can strip the look back with a pair of espadrilles for a beautiful summer evening dress.”

“I would choose the royal blue Chiswick Dress, it’s incredibly flattering on the female form and my favourite feature is the bell sleeves. It looks great from the front and the back as it elongates the body. It can take you from day to night with the right accessories and I would rewear it to other events throughout the year. I would complete my summer wedding guest look with YSL nude pumps, a nude Bottega bag and hot pink Jane Taylor hat.”

“The Kew Blouse in flame with taupe Palma Trousers, would be my summer wedding guest look for 2023. The pop of colour from the blouse complements the muted tone of the wide leg trousers for an understated look. I can switch up the look during the evening by pairing the trousers with the Brooklyn Silk Camisole for the dance floor! A pair of suede courts from LK Bennett and matching bag plus the Bowie earrings from Stephanie Browne, finishes the look.”

“The gorgeous green Camberley Suit would be my summer wedding guest outfit. Crafted from luxurious crepe for comfort, the single-breasted blazer is finished with a tie waist designed to sculpt and define. This year is all about monotone dressing, so a pair of green Steve Madden shoes and a beautiful Bottega bag have to be my accessories of choice! Plus, the statement Ruby Jack earrings add even more glamour to the look. As part of the production team here at Sassi Holford, if I could have picked a look from the next collection, I would have! We can’t wait to show you what we’re working on.”
